Site type. Remote oil & gas production site running as a self-sufficient microgrid — generation, storage, and on-site loads, with limited connectivity.

Challenge. Energy assets from multiple vendors on different protocols at a remote site with no reliable internet — operators needed unified, resilient, local control that never depends on the cloud.

What DJIN deployed. GenieOS as the on-prem plant controller, unifying every asset behind one vendor-agnostic interface. Offline-first by design; the on-prem AI Engine surfaces anomalies and guides operators from local data.

Outcome. Single-pane visibility and control of all energy assets. The site keeps running independent of internet connectivity, with all control staying on-site.

Site type. A second oil & gas field microgrid, including a ~1 MW / ~1.1 MWh battery energy storage system alongside on-site generation and loads.

Challenge. Deliver the same unified, resilient control as the first field — and prove the platform repeats cleanly across sites rather than requiring bespoke engineering each time.

What DJIN deployed. GenieOS integrating storage, generation, and loads through the same driver-based architecture used at Field 1. Same platform, same workflows — configured to the equipment on hand.

Outcome. Repeatable, multi-site deployment of one platform: storage and generation unified under a single on-prem system, demonstrating throughput across fields.

Site type. A ~1 MW / ~1.1 MWh grid-connected battery storage asset operating in the ERCOT West load zone — a grid-services deployment, not a microgrid.

Challenge. Exposure to ERCOT peak-demand and 4CP transmission charges. The operator needed precise, well-timed storage dispatch around unpredictable system peaks to reduce cost.

What DJIN deployed. GenieOS manages and dispatches the BESS for peak shaving and 4CP avoidance — timing discharge to coincident system peaks, with on-prem intelligence that surfaces dispatch insight and full local monitoring.

Outcome. Reduced demand and 4CP transmission cost exposure through well-timed storage dispatch — turning battery storage into measurable cost savings.
